I got the home gardening interest lately. I like to watch things grow through my personal effort and harvest it later. Its fun and cost saving. Furthermore, its healthy as its all organic. Since i don’t have any soil plot land around my house, it doesn’t stop me from farming. I had to use large tubs instead of round pots. There are alot of stuff lying around the house that I can use. Thanks to my gf, she gave me an old tub which is the old home of her pet terrapin.

My Cost and Items for this project

7 Bags of Fertilized Mixed Soil = RM10.00
Bokashi = RM12.00
Large green tub = FREE
Iron Grills = FREE

Total Cost: RM22.00

This is where the Terrapin used to live. Made some holes in it so the water to flow.

Overlay a newspaper sheet to very the hole so the soil can be spread over. Its last week paper with some political party ad. Im burried it with soil.

Bokashi 6kg. I used up about 2kg, pour into the green tub together with the soil. Its processed chicken dung. So doesn’t smell as bad but stupid flies still come around.

This one is not included in the gardening process.

With the help of my dad, I have made the garden a giant hamster cage. Those are unused grills which used to be in my house. Its bitter gourd, it needs to have something to climb.
