Goodbye 2009

The Brownies

This is my personal favourite shot for 2009. Not very productive with the camera in 2009. Too much random shots throughout the year. Didn’t put much work into taking photos. Lost my inspiration in some ways. Anyway, this shot was taken in December 2009.

Same as every year, ups and downs in 2009. Came to a conclusion that I may have overspent this year. Laptop, camera, gears, and I also gain weight. Resolution to 2010, loose weight and make more money and save money too.

Borneo Station

Fried Noodle

Green Curry

Had lunch over at Borneo Station, Simpang Tiga. I ordered Green Curry Chicken. Had been craving for this green curry since last year bangkok trip. Finally found it but sadly, it wasn’t the taste I was looking for. Not spicy at all. Cost about RM5. I tried this place few times. Their other dish is not too bad. Portion and price range is good.

Gambier Street Aftermath- Update

Yes, I went to look at the Gambier Street fire scene again while going over to my cousin’s place. They’re removing all the fire debris from the place. Some of the people were seen scavenging the area. Could be the shop owners. :-D

Anyway, the road had been opened up, traffic still jam as many on lookers drive very slowwwwwwww….. through the gambier street.

Lions Club year end gathering & meeting

Had a potluck gathering over at one of the Lions Club member’s place last Saturday night. All Good Delicious Food. There was another set of curry pot which is not included in the picture. Brought in late by Audrey #2.  Had cheesecake for deserts!

Later, proceed with Lions meeting and then “team” building games. :-D . call it a night at 11pm. All had fun.

5 Loaves Cafe

Had late lunch over at 5 loaves cafe. Wasn’t my first option to come here but.. thought just give it a try. I ordered black pepper chicken with rice and egg. When it came, I was a little dissapointed. “Ah, so small potion”. Could have gotten better ones for that price of RM5.50. The chicken meat chunk is so small. The black pepper flavour doesn’t absorb into the meat. The meat is hard and chewy. The tomato slice is size of a AAA battery. Its so small that you can’t see it from the picture below. Its behind the rice.  Pathetic potion. I don’t like it.

As the for the Nasi Lemak, the sambal is good. Overall, just OK.  Environment, free aircon, free Wi-FI. but NO FREE power point. Its RM3.00 per hour! Its the first time I see such rule. Good business outlet won’t bother about you using their facilities like Star Bucks, Bings!, Coffee Bean, After4. .. that explains things :-D
