Last night, after trying to look for bookfair that never existed, we decided to hunt for yummy cakes.

Decided to go Tom’s at padungan then suddenly thought of the discount cakes after 8pm at hotels. So we ended up at pullman hotel.

Ordered a rm11.80 cake and free another one which i picked the choco pastry.

Both are dissapointing for my taste. Very little choco on the pastry. Felt cheated. As for the cake, could have gotten much nicer and satisfying one elsewhere for that price . Secret recipe!

Not goin back there again.

Last sunday morning, on the way to Siar beach resort. We went to wat breakfast at Tondong for their popular kolo mee.

Im so bloated after having dinner at sarawak club. Ordered the Chicken curry with rice, the portion is seriously big for that price. And it was a damm good curry. Love the curry gravy.

I think i cook better fried rice than them. This one cost rm4.50. It was suppose to be yang zhou fried rice but turn out to be this type. Bleh. Its the second time i tasted their cooking. Not impressed.

As promised, here is lucky’s recovery report. Now he is much better already. Very good apettite everyday. Starting to wonder if im feeding him too much.

Hair starts to grow around the chest area. Back area still rather bold.

When u go to Sibu, u must go try the food at Hong Fu seafood restaurant. Order the Phillipine pork leg and their special toufu. Went there twice to eat. I like their deep fried toufu with special sauce. Yum!

A classic breakfast which my dad introduced to me when I was young. Yu Cha Kueh dip in Kopi kao One of the best and simple light breakfast.

Tried this Curry Pan Mee at brighton square, Kuching or also known as Titanium building. The crispy pork is really good.  I ordered the Dry curry pan mee. Cost about RM5.50. Portion is not bad. Just right. Added a little bit more would be nice. I love the curry. Reminds me of Madam Kwan’s curry at KLCC.  Next round, I would order their Pork Rice.

Tried the Nuggets when it was advertised on newspaper. I was one of the suckers who fell into the advertising gimmick. Look at the ad. Nuggets so big that it hardly fits into the box !. when the real thing when i got it. Its as tiny as #!@$!. fits so well into the box and can hide under one another. It cost me RM5.15 including tax.

But can’t blame KFC either. look at the newspaper ad. On the bottom. “Illustration purpose only”. KFC is such a bitch.

Someone told me that I should keep this documented or “blogged”. Before you start accusing me of resulting the dog condition above. Please read on the story.

Breeder-A sold a german shepherd puppy to a customer. This customer who has 200 dogs at home decided to sell back the dog after few months for RM1,000 back to the Breeder-A. Breeder-A has no place to keep at his place as it was full, so he decided to keep it in another Breeder friend’s house, Breeder-B. The german shepherd was kept there while looking for potential buyer or owner. But recently, Breeder-B said he has new dog coming in and he has no place to put the German.S and request Breeder-A to take it back. Only then, Breeder-A found out about the condition on the German.S.

I don’t know if the story told was true but somehow along the line, it resulting in the dog’s condition. The news got to my family in some ways and we decided to go take a look at the dog and see if we can adopt it.  When we got there at Breeder-B’s house, it was a heart wrenching experience when I saw the dog. The dog was barking away blindly, while ramming its head on the rusty steel cage. 60% of its fur are gone. Tail and feet are almost bold. wounds inside the ear and forehead.

After giving some thoughts, we decided to adopt it despite its condition which we think its the right thing to do. It was adopted on the 12/7/2010. It was born somewhere in September from what I was told.

On Wednesday 14/7/2010, we brought it to the vet, City Vet. Good thing the vet said it was “alright”. no infection or disease whatsoever. Just lack of nutrition and protein. Spent RM60.00 for a bottle of vitamins, injection, and 2 types of tablets.

On Thursday 15/7/2010, we spend on dog food. Rm140.00. Large pack of imported dog food. High protein and balance diet.

On Friday 16/7/2010. the dog which we named Lucky. is so much better than the past few days. It was so weak and hungry few days back. Now its more alive and getting more playful. Its also more receptive towards my family members. Another of my dog Ahbui still doesn’t like him thought. Territorial. Hah!

Will keep on updating on the dog recovery progress. Hope it will help others who encountered it.
